Te Mata Estate Alma 2022 Pinot Noir

• Aromas and Flavors: Intense floral and spice notes like carnations and sandalwood are balanced with rich red and dark fruit flavors such as cherry, redcurrant, and black plum. Savory wildwood, truffle, and hints of spice like clove are also present.
• Structure: The wine has fine-grained, silky tannins that provide structure and a smooth, velvety texture on the palate.
• Appearance: It has a deep garnet or crimson color with a purple edge.
• Pairing: It pairs well with dishes like duck breast, lamb fillet, mushroom risotto, and charcuterie.
• Cellaring: The wine is excellent for cellaring and is expected to age gracefully. It can be enjoyed now but will evolve over time, with some sources recommending cellaring it through 2032 or 2037.
